Donor retention has been a hot topic in fundraising circles for the past few years—and for good reason! If your organization isn’t devoting enough resources to keeping your existing donors, you will never be able to recover. How does your donor retention rate compare to the national average? Do you know your retention rate? What can you do to increase donor loyalty? Is membership the answer? Is there some special sauce that makes supporters want to stay connected through thick and thin?
