Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy, the Director of Philanthropy has primary responsibility for planning and executing the identification, engagement, and direct solicitation of prospects and donors capable of making gifts of $100,000 or more to John Muir Health. This position plays an essential role in developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of donors, engaging key donor relations, and increasing overall fundraising revenue. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of highly rated donors and potential donors and associated administrative tasks and performance metrics, execution of direct solicitation of donors including proposal writing and drafting gift agreements, assuring proper recognition for donors’ gifts, and ongoing engagement and stewardship of individual supporters to sustain meaningful relationships. Additional leadership responsibilities include strategic engagement with health system leadership, physicians, service line leaders, volunteers, grateful patients, and key community stakeholders. The Director of Philanthropy will be an external representative of the Foundation at community events and meetings to ensure that the community is aware of John Muir Health’s fundraising priorities, programs, and services.

Bishop O’Dowd High School seeks a Director of Leadership and Planned Giving to qualify, further cultivate, and manage donors to support the strategic fundraising growth of the school. The ultimate focus of this position will be to manage long-term leadership and legacy giving programs for O’Dowd to best maximize the generosity and potential philanthropic donor impact over the course of the next 3+ years, especially as O’Dowd gears up for a coming capital campaign. This individual will be responsible for refining and building a program to qualify, identify, cultivate, and ultimately solicit and steward donors and prospects. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer this individual will help the school to realize its fullest potential in its pursuit to advance the mission of the school.

The Chief Development Officer will forge new relationships to build Family House’s financial resources, visibility and impact. In addition, they will be responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive fund development plan for creating a diverse revenue stream from key external alliances, including individual, corporate, foundation and other philanthropic support.

They will be primarily responsible for the expansion and diversification of Family House’s donor base/pipeline, securing funding for annual operations, capital improvements and the Fund for the Future Campaign. They will work closely with the board development committee, and support board members as they continue their fundraising efforts.

It is expected that the amount raised by Family House will increase in future years as the Chief Development Officer systematically and effectively strengthens the organization’s sustainable fundraising capacity.

Position Summary:
The Director of Major Gifts will join an established fundraising team with new leadership and be a lead strategist and fundraiser for major individual contributors, with a focus on donors ranging from $10K to >$1M. The Director will engage in all elements of the donor lifecycle—annual sustaining gifts, major contributions, and planned gifts—and empowered (in collaboration with the CAO) to design and lead a team of major gift fundraisers to support this work. To be successful in this role, an individual needs to be high-energy collaborative and entrepreneurial, a steady leader who is able to pivot between being an individual contributor and a supportive manager committed to the success of the larger team and its every member.

As a senior leader on the team, you will be a change agent, driving process and systems improvements to increase efficiency, best practices and automation as the organization evolves, while building relationships with your team and across the organization.

KEXP is an independent radio station and music discovery nonprofit based in Seattle. In March of 2024, KEXP launched a broadcast in the Bay Area, via 92.7 FM. Position Summary: The Advancement Coordinator provides administrative support and project coordination to the newly formed KEXP Bay Area fundraising team and other KEXP Bay Area team members. This position is responsible for ensuring that the team has the necessary information and tools and is well-positioned for success in its execution of building relationships with, soliciting gifts from, and stewarding donors and clients in the Bay Area. This position will also be responsible for coordinating engagement, stewardship and cultivation events as necessary, requiring both independent and collaborative work with teams in Seattle.
