Key Responsibilities:

Donor Engagement: Build and nurture positive relationships with individual donors, foundation and corporate partners, and other key stakeholders to enhance their connection with the All May See Foundation's mission and vision.

Donor Communication: Develop and implement personalized communication plans for donors, including regular updates, phone calls, newsletters, appreciation emails, donor impact stories, and other materials to ensure donors feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions.

Donor Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information in the organization's CRM system. Track donor interactions, contributions, and communication to ensure effective donor segmentation and personalized outreach.

Donor Stewardship: Implement and oversee donor recognition and stewardship initiatives, such as personalized acknowledgments, annual reports, stewardship reports, and exclusive opportunities to engage with the Foundation's work.

Donor Events and Meetings: Organize and coordinate donor appreciation and cultivation events, luncheons, and one-on-one meetings with major donors and key stakeholders.

Fundraising: Collaborate with the fundraising team to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising efforts, leveraging donor insights to tailor messaging and maximize donor participation.

Prospect Research: Assist with identification and assessment of potential major donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic partners through research and analysis to expand the Foundation's donor base.

Grant Reporting: Assist in the preparation of stewardship reports and grant proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submission to meet funder requirements.

Donor Retention: Develop and implement strategies to retain donors, including customized stewardship plans, targeted outreach, and donor recognition activities.

Data Analysis: Utilize donor data and analytics to identify trends, donor preferences, and potential areas for improvement in donor relations strategies.

External Representation: Represent the All May See Foundation at donor meetings, events, and other networking opportunities to promote the organization's mission and values.

Compliance and Donor Privacy: Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations and donor privacy laws. Safeguard donor information and maintain confidentiality.

Other: May be asked to perform other tasks which are related but not necessarily regular duties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

 

Proven experience in donor relations, fundraising, or related fields, ideally within a nonprofit organization.

 

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor communications.

 

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse donors and stakeholders.

 

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Raiser’s Edge software for record-keeping and tracking of gifts.

Familiarity with fundraising best practices and donor engagement strategies.

 

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, philanthropy trends and social impact is a plus.

 

Ideally, knowledge of and professional experience with Bay Area philanthropy.

Compensation:

•           Salary: $47,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience
