Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze pre-existing materials and data relevant to the capital campaign.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the campaign’s vision, goals, and unique selling points.
• Develop a clear, concise, and compelling case for support that effectively communicates the importance and impact of the campaign.
• Infuse the document with emotional appeal to connect with potential donors on a personal level.
• Ensure the case for support aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to the document
• Oversee development of materials through production including graphic design

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in writing cases for support, grant proposals or similar fundraising documents.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into a clear and engaging narrative.
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and donor psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Temple Sinai, Reform Judaism, Jewish community, or faith-based fundraising – a plus.
