Philanthropy Book Club

AFP Golden Gate is excited to launch a Philanthropy Book Club in 2021! With 2020 behind us and a new year ahead, it is more important than ever to build community within the fundraising profession.

Participants can expect a unique and intimate professional development opportunity where they can ask questions, share experiences, and dive deeper into discussions with peers, all while using the monthly book as a framework for the conversation. The Philanthropy Book Club will meet the first Friday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Look out for our next meeting on the Calendar.

Participants are asked to read the book before attending each meeting, but all members are welcomed. Facilitators will ask questions and guide the conversation and attendees are encouraged to come prepared with topics and experiences they are most interested in exploring further.

This opportunity is available exclusively for members of AFP Golden Gate.
